"One! -the history of Tackey-" DVD (Feb, 2008)

Length: About 3 and a half hours (!!)

Starring: Takizawa Hideaki, Ya-Ya-yah, KisMyFt2, J.J.Express, A.B.C., Johnnys Jr.
Highlights: It is basically a life history of Tackey where he talks about his dad leaving, growing up kind of poor, meeting his half-brother and building a house for him mom and grandma. There are plenty of purely random dance/magic/song scenes that have absolutely nothing to do with the plot thrown in at random times as well as random let's-sing-the-plot parts! (Can you tell from my highlights that I didn't like it? The bits about Tackey's life were fascinating, but the other couple of hours of random fillers in the show kind of bored and confused me a bit.)

P.S.#2 My boss hijacked my weekend and it looks like I'll also be working late every night this week too, so I didn't have time to work on this properly. There are still many parts of the "let's sing the plot" lyrics that have errors that I didn't have time to re-listen to and try to correct, but you'll just have to make do with this, I'm afraid. *Am feeling totally stressed at the moment and need to go find a sad drama to watch so I can have a good cry and instantly feel better afterwards - but instead I'll go back to working on the stupid work that my boss suddenly gave me. Grr!!!*

thank you!! i'm so sorry that you ended up doing this even though you were bogged with work and didn't find it that interesting. (>_<) the aspect of finding out a little bit more of tackey's past and all the juniors just intrigued me so much, hehe~

Thank you so much. Poor thing, I'm feel really bad about you being so stressed with work and still subbing. Don't take that the wrong way I love you and your work, I just hope that you find a project/clip that will make you happy while you sub rather than bored. Still, thank you for your hard work and I hope you find your smile in a different set of clips. Thank you again.

BTW: I love hardsubs, but out of curiosity, what is the benefit of softsubs? Why do some people prefer them?

Thank you very much for subbing~ I just re-watched the first part and even though I was now able to understand what was going on... I still didn't understand what was going on... oh the magic of a Johnnys musical <3
