"HEY! HEY! HEY!" show (28 April, 2008) NEWS talk & "Summer Time"

Highlights: My favorite part was Koyama's reaction to Shige's April Fools prank. Gosh, he's a sucker! I also left in a part with a girl with a G-cup bust doing hula hoop just so you can watch Tegoshi's absolute joy at the sight of her swirling her hips around. Ryo doesn't seem at all surprised that Pi must have had practice thrusting his hips all of the previous day (... is it okay if I imagine that practice involving Ryo + a bed...?! I mean, you do get to see Ryo sitting in Pi's lap in this clip, so surely I'm allowed to imagine this scene too!) Oh, and Pi was in a JAWS movie!! And Ryo had a strange fanboy when he was 14... someone who looked a lot, LOT older than him!

Sorry, I accidently left out the part where Shige talks about how he's in the same class as Tanimura at law school (the G-cup girl). Bascially he just says that he's spoken to her 3 times before, but it feels uncomfortable talking to her on this show. I also deliberately left out the part where Tegoshi eats the natto (sticky stibnky beans) pudding, because all he said was "It's really good!" which hardly seemed worth subbing.

I'll work on the Hey!Say!JUMP parts over the next couple of days (it wasn't all that interesting, so I figured I'll leave it and get an early night's sleep instead.)

And thank you to whoever sent me the bear hug~! It made me feel all warm and fuzzy! I love teddy bears and I love hugs! But my favorite part was definitely the sweet comment that went with it. I totally understand about online fandoms sometimes being reallly unkind and all high & mighty. I'm glad that most of the JE fandom is pretty good. *mwah*

There is a lot of footage and talk about the "Summary" concerts that Johnnys held that summer. Tackey sends a video letter to his beloved Yamapi (making Jin jealous! Jin thinks it's about time Tackey started looking at younger boys, completely ignoring Yampi's shy confessions of love.)

My high hopes for being able to upload some stuff over the next couple of days seems to have crashed and burned. I think my hotel in Singapore must be blocking uploading from most sites. Or is it the whole country that can't use Megaupload or Mediafire? And are upload speeds of 3kb/s normal in this part of the world?!

I have a whole stack of things to upload and I should find out tomorrow if I'll have internet in my new apartment straight away, or if I'll have to wait and find time for it to be installed. Please, please let it there be high speed internet already!! Is there a god of super-duper high speed internet that I can go and pray to during this "Singapore's shopping rocks!!" leg of my trip?!

Once again it took me almost 2 hours just to upload to Sendspace, which seemed to offer the quickest time out of everything I tried. Don't expect to see me uploading anything else until April, because the other clips I have ready are all well over 100 MB in size, and I'd have to sit in an internet cafe for a week to get them to upload at these speeds! I guess it serves me right for leaving any attempts at uploading until I got to the last country on my whirlwind visit of "countries with sucky internet speeds!" Ha ha~

I'll send you some of the sunshine from here, but not all of it because I'm just about to go out to the beach after I post this and I desperately need a tan so that I don't glow in the dark with my pale skin that isn't used to being under a clear sky. (It's taken me 2 hours today to get it to upload just on SS!! I just watched the rest of the show while I was waiting for this to upload and I realized that NEWS talked at other parts of the show too. They didn't say anything too interesting though, so I can't be bothered cutting the little bits out and adding them to this (It was just things like Ryo talking about how he keeps pressing the button on the TV remote in the hotel so that he can watch porn for free for as long as possible! And Shige talking about how he was stopped on the street and he said that he's not allowed to take photos, before realizing they wanted him to take the photo, not be in it!!)

I've finished the 100 page translation thing (which was actually really interesting because it was by one client who writes lyrics for a lot of pop singers in Korea and it was about the thoughts behind the lyrics for a lot of his hit songs. But still, 100 pages of thoughts?!) In theory this should be a cushy week at work, but that's what I'd been expecting last week when all hell broke loose, so maybe I shouldn't speak too soon. Hopefully I'll get a couple more Kaiki Club episodes out this week, as well as the making of Kurosagi before I fly out on Saturday.

Highlights: This time the onigokko (hide and seek tag) game is played in a 21 floor building in Tokyo. Koyama & Yuuto direct the game while the other members all have to try to escape for 60 minutes. Shige practices and practices and practices his Elevator Escape Plan (which Koyama predicts won't work) while Kusano crawls around on the floor like a soldier! Taiyo attempts to hold a door closed for 60 minutes, while Inoo runs down 16 flights of stairs non-stop. Watching JE boys being totally scared out of their wits for the entire game is always amusing~!!

What I hope to work on before the end of the month (although I am likely to drop any of these at a moment's notice if something shorter and sparklier comes along! Yes, I know a lot of you have been requesting all sorts of other clips lately too, but I'm leaving soon darn it! And you're all requesting things that are well over my magic 20 minute mark - I'm afraid that things that are more than 20 minutes long tend to feel like a chore at times to me! Then enjoy a stressful 10 seconds waiting for people to push a button!! Massu cracks me up in the last battle with his "I am strong" actions! The losing team has to say "I'm a scaredy-pants~" Watch the boys just about die in shame as they have to say that on national TV!!!

"HEY! HEY! HEY!" (4 Jan, 2005) NEWS (& Kanjani 4) talk

Starring: NEWS (+ Uchi & Kusano!), Kanjani 8 (4?!) (Yoko, Murakami, Ryo, Uchi)
Note: Although officially this is a NEWS appearance on HEYx3, the NEWS members barely talk. Tegoshi & Kusano each say two lines, I think Yamapi says about 3, Koyama does his best to talk a bit, while Massu & Shige don't say a single word at all during the entire 34 minute clip~!!! Most of the clip is about a comedian whose mother has a crush on Yamapi, then about 2 friendly vs. scary volleyball players.
Highlights: NEWS > KJ8 eg. Uchi had to choose between NEWS & KJ8 and he chose NEWS. Ryo says KJ8 are idiots and that he is superior to them. The hosts agree that KJ8 are idiots and that NEWS (particularly Yamapi) are much more grown-up than their older Osakan counterparts. NEWS stop talking (not that they were talking much to begin with!!) when KJ8 come out and they seem to back off a lot. Yoko & Hina beg to be allowed to join NEWS (or at least eat their food~!)

 "Daidaya" (29 Dec, 2007) Ryo's date with Haruna

Highlights: Drunk Ryo is so~ adorable! He seems to have a habit of covering his mouth with his wineglass when he's drunk, which just instantly draws my eyes to his lips and makes me wonder how soft they'd be to kiss *Starts daydreaming again* I also added the lyrics for "Konayuki" which drunk Ryo plays on his guitar as he tries to serenade the girl so that you can sing along and drown out Ryo's voice. Advice to Ryo: Don't try to serenade anyone when you're A) absolutely plastered B) shivering from the cold C) trying not to laugh D) embarrassed E) all of the above!! By the way, am I the only one who finds myself subconsciously tilting my head (expecting to feel the touch of his lips soon) when he moves in for the kiss?

Background information: On this show they went to New York to crown the most beautiful woman. Basically they choose one beautiful girl and then ask her to introduce someone even more beautiful than herself. They continue doing this until a certain number when (the mathematician has worked out) they'll arrive at the most beautiful woman. The winner must then choose which of the cast she would consider as her boyfriend.
Highlights: Tego likes the idea of sharing clothes and LOVES blondes~ (and single girls in general!!) Unfortunately New Yorkers think he looks less than 16 years old...! But he is still called the Prince of Sleaze by his co-stars...!!

My cold is almost better and I can breathe again!! So to celebrate, I decided to sub a teeny tiny little clip. I watched this show the other day and it amused me so much that I felt the need to clip out parts and sub them.
