My favorite parts are where he calls for support from other police officers, when he sees a girl's panties, when he's involved in a gun battle and when he curls up in a ball afraid of a giant balloon that is squashing him.

Sorry, but I haven't been in the mood to work more on Aiba's SCP lately, so it'll still be a couple more weeks before I finish it. I find SCPs boring and Aiba tends to bug me at times (and other times I love him!) so I have to be in the mood to work on that clip.
I'll try to get the last two Kaiki Club episodes out this week so that the series is finished and I'll have time to work on other stuff instead. I'm struggling to find clips that I'm motivated to do at the moment so I'm deliberately ignoring a lot of requests until I'm in the right mood to do them. Why aren't there more cute little Shounen Club clips to sub? They're always my favorite as they are short little talking bits and are really quick to do AND funny~! Anyway, I'll write up a list of requested clips that I'll probably work on in the next few months sometime soon (but first I'll go an old SMAPxSMAP show that I missed when I was away for the month traveling. Yay for procrastination!! *hee hee*)

"Budou no Ki (Grapevine)" (7 Nov, 2003)

Highlights: This is a very moving (read: tear-jerking!) special one-off drama about people who become foster parents and the kids they take into their family. It is an excellent drama (just ignore the first 10 minutes where they lecture a bit as they try to educate the Japanese public about foster care.) Yamapi plays the teenage foster child role and he is excellent as a deliquent (I guess he was probably going through that phase in real life at the time too!)  I really recommend this drama - but make sure you keep a box of tissues handy as I don't think anyone could ever watch it without crying. I want to tell you my highlights, but I don't want to ruin the story too much, so let me just say that I loved Yamapi's letter to his parents near the end of the drama.

"HEY! HEY! HEY!" (4 Feb, 2008) KAT-TUN talk & "LIPS"

Highlights: KAT-TUN don't seem too worried that they hardly ever see each other these days. Nakamaru is surprised that the KJ8 boys clean up after themselves, while Downtown warn him not to hang out with Kanjani. And besides, weren't KJ8 fired already?! Kame meets famous people at the bathhouse. Oh, and his impersonation is even worse than what NEWS managed to do on this show!

(Why is it that Koyama always seems to film a naked Yamapi whenever he gets to use a handheld video camera? Remember the scene from Never Ending Wonderful Story when Kei also filmed Yamapi when he was walking naked out of the bath? But really the more important questions is: *When do we get to see the  tapes Kei's filmed of Yamapi that were for their private x-rated collection?* I am SURE they must have a collection of them stashed away somewhere!!)

Yay for completely ignoring work for this evening and not even feeling bad about it~! I've already translated 60 of the 100 page assignment I was suddenly given on Saturday and I've been working 3 peoples' jobs for the last 2 days on top of that extra work, so I think I've earned the right to relax for the evening and do what I want to do. Tomorrow's another day and I'll worry about work then~~!

I know that I've been completely random with the last few things I've subbed, but just let me be. It's not my fault that I love just about every Johnnys unit that every existed!! Ha ha~

I'm still tossing up whether to sub Tackey's One musical or not. If I do that, it will probably take up all my time and be the last thing I can sub before I have to leave. So should I do that one big project or continue to just sub hundreds of tiny clips instead? There's no need to give your opinion, as I'll probably ignore it anyway. I guess I'm just thinking out loud.

P.S. Is anyone subbing the Making of Kurosagi (drama series) that recently came on on DVD? Yamapi has to be the only person I've ever seen who can watch a magic show, look rather impressed, but still not utter a single sound! How hard is it to say "Wow~!" or "How'd he do that?" or something? I think Yamapi's lack of reaction was the most magic thing~! Ha ha

Just think, your fangirling encourages these kinds of nutcases???!!!  Surely someone would love to please write me a fanfic based on the NEWS members apparent fascination with Yamapi's moobs? Pretty please~? Later Yamapi talks about how he writes excuses on his university exam papers.

Highlights: This is a continuation of an earlier clip from a Nov 2003 episode where each member introduces themselves and say what kind of character they are in NEWS. This time the members get to choose each others' characters and come up with some random ideas.

Never Ending Wonderful Story DVD - Disc 1 of 2 (part 2 of 2)

* Concert footage - Performance including "Daite Senorita", "Fever to Future", "Kanfuu Fighting," "Sayanedou", "Boom! Boom! POWER" and a laser stick dance, "Love Addcition" (Koyama's solo), Cacao (Shige's solo), "Stars" (Tegoshi's solo), "I.ZA.NA.I.ZU.KI" (where Shige does the lip thing) and "Kirameki no Kanata e" (where Yamapi demands a piggyback from Koyama, and Tegoshi offers Yamapi a Jr.)
* Documentary in Hiroshima - Koyama has caught a cold and even Ryo shows his Member Ai towards poor Koyama. Tego & Shige go under cover to annoy Koyama. Then Tegoshi amazes us with his magic skills (while Shige gets bullied again, mostly due to Ryo's helpful cruel suggestions in the background). Massu does an impersonation of what Winnie The Pooh doing sit-ups would look/sound like ?!?
* Concert footage: Koyama talks about Member Ai (member love) and Yampi gives us a perfect example of it. Performance including "Pumpkin" (Massu's solo), "Seishun Amigo", "Daite Senorita" and "Gomen ne Juliet" (Yamapi's solos)
* Documentary in Fukuoka - Ryo loses his bag at the airport because he is too absorbed by Yamapi's kissable lips. Koyama is STILL going on about Member Ai.
* Concert footage: An audience member gets to ask any NEWS member to do anything. She chooses to ask Ryo to blow her a kiss, and Ryo's acting skills set in (despite his embarrassment!)

I know I said I'm not doing this first disc, but I couldn't help myself~! It felt too weird to just do the second one without doing the first one as well.
